Resumen
Jesús muestra compasión al sanar a los enfermos y bendecir a los niños, ora con gran poder, y ángeles ministran a los niños mientras el pueblo presencia hechos milagrosos.
Después de que Jesús terminó de hablar, miró a la multitud y les dijo: "Mi tiempo está cerca."
Behold, now it came to pass that when Jesus had spoken these words he looked round about again on the multitude, and he said unto them: Behold, my time is at hand.
Veo que eres débil y no puedes entender todas las palabras que el Padre me ha mandado decirte en este momento.
I perceive that ye are weak, that ye cannot understand all my words which I am commanded of the Father to speak unto you at this time.
Así que vayan a sus hogares, piensen en las cosas que les he dicho y pidan al Padre en mi nombre que les ayude a entender. Preparen sus mentes para mañana, y volveré a ustedes.
Therefore, go ye unto your homes, and ponder upon the things which I have said, and ask of the Father, in my name, that ye may understand, and prepare your minds for the morrow, and I come unto you again.
Pero ahora voy al Padre, y también para manifestarme a las tribus perdidas de Israel, porque no están perdidas para el Padre, pues él sabe dónde las ha llevado.
But now I go unto the Father, and also to show myself unto the lost tribes of Israel, for they are not lost unto the Father, for he knoweth whither he hath taken them.
Cuando Jesús terminó de hablar, miró a la multitud y vio que estaban llorando, mirándolo fijamente como si quisieran pedirle que se quedara con ellos un poco más.
And it came to pass that when Jesus had thus spoken, he cast his eyes round about again on the multitude, and beheld they were in tears, and did look steadfastly upon him as if they would ask him to tarry a little longer with them.
Él les dijo: "Estoy lleno de compasión por ustedes."
And he said unto them: Behold, my bowels are filled with compassion towards you.
¿Hay alguien entre ustedes que esté enfermo? Tráiganlo aquí. ¿Hay alguien que sea cojo, ciego, lisiado, mutilado, tenga lepra, esté paralizado, sordo o afligido de alguna manera? Tráiganlos aquí y yo los sanaré, porque tengo compasión de ustedes; mi corazón está lleno de misericordia.
Have ye any that are sick among you? Bring them hither. Have ye any that are lame, or blind, or halt, or maimed, or leprous, or that are withered, or that are deaf, or that are afflicted in any manner? Bring them hither and I will heal them, for I have compassion upon you; my bowels are filled with mercy.
Puedo ver que quieres que te muestre lo que hice por tus hermanos y hermanas en Jerusalén, y veo que tu fe es lo suficientemente fuerte para que yo te sane.
For I perceive that ye desire that I should show unto you what I have done unto your brethren at Jerusalem, for I see that your faith is sufficient that I should heal you.
Cuando terminó de hablar, toda la multitud, unida, trajo a sus enfermos, sus afligidos, sus cojos, sus ciegos, sus mudos y a todos los que sufrían de alguna manera; y tú sanaste a cada uno conforme eran llevados ante ti.
And it came to pass that when he had thus spoken, all the multitude, with one accord, did go forth with their sick and their afflicted, and their lame, and with their blind, and with their dumb, and with all them that were afflicted in any manner; and he did heal them every one as they were brought forth unto him.
Todos, tanto los que habían sido sanados como los que ya estaban bien, se inclinaron a sus pies y lo adoraron. Todos los que podían acercarse a él a causa de la multitud besaban sus pies, y bañaban sus pies con sus lágrimas.
And they did all, both they who had been healed and they who were whole, bow down at his feet, and did worship him; and as many as could come for the multitude did kiss his feet, insomuch that they did bathe his feet with their tears.
Él mandó que le llevaran a sus niños pequeños.
And it came to pass that he commanded that their little children should be brought.
Trajeron a sus niños pequeños y los pusieron en el suelo alrededor de él, y Jesús se quedó de pie en medio; la multitud se hizo a un lado hasta que todos los niños estuvieron junto a él.
So they brought their little children and set them down upon the ground round about him, and Jesus stood in the midst; and the multitude gave way till they had all been brought unto him.
Cuando todos estuvieron reunidos y Jesús se puso en medio de ellos, él le dijo a la multitud que se arrodillara en el suelo.
And it came to pass that when they had all been brought, and Jesus stood in the midst, he commanded the multitude that they should kneel down upon the ground.
Cuando se arrodillaron en el suelo, Jesús gimió en su interior y dijo: "Padre, estoy angustiado por la maldad del pueblo de la casa de Israel."
And it came to pass that when they had knelt upon the ground, Jesus groaned within himself, and said: Father, I am troubled because of the wickedness of the people of the house of Israel.
Después de decir estas palabras, se arrodilló en el suelo y oró al Padre. Las cosas por las que oró no se pueden escribir, pero la multitud que lo escuchó dio testimonio de ello.
And when he had said these words, he himself also knelt upon the earth; and behold he prayed unto the Father, and the things which he prayed cannot be written, and the multitude did bear record who heard him.
Ellos testifican de esta manera: Nadie ha visto ni escuchado jamás cosas tan grandes y maravillosas como las que nosotros vimos y oímos decir a Jesús al Padre.
And after this manner do they bear record: The eye hath never seen, neither hath the ear heard, before, so great and marvelous things as we saw and heard Jesus speak unto the Father;
Nadie puede expresar, escribir, ni siquiera imaginar cosas tan grandes y maravillosas como las que vimos y oímos decir a Jesús; y nadie puede comprender la alegría que llenó nuestros corazones cuando lo escuchamos orar por nosotros al Padre.
And no tongue can speak, neither can there be written by any man, neither can the hearts of men conceive so great and marvelous things as we both saw and heard Jesus speak; and no one can conceive of the joy which filled our souls at the time we heard him pray for us unto the Father.
Cuando Jesús terminó de orar al Padre, se puso de pie; pero el gozo de la multitud era tan grande que quedaron sobrecogidos.
And it came to pass that when Jesus had made an end of praying unto the Father, he arose; but so great was the joy of the multitude that they were overcome.
Jesús les habló y les dijo que se pusieran de pie.
And it came to pass that Jesus spake unto them, and bade them arise.
Se levantaron del suelo, y él les dijo: “Eres bendecido por tu fe. Ahora mi gozo es completo.”
And they arose from the earth, and he said unto them: Blessed are ye because of your faith. And now behold, my joy is full.
Después de decir estas palabras, lloró, y la multitud lo vio. Tomó a sus pequeños uno por uno, los bendijo y oró al Padre por ellos.
And when he had said these words, he wept, and the multitude bare record of it, and he took their little children, one by one, and blessed them, and prayed unto the Father for them.
Cuando terminó esto, lloró de nuevo.
And when he had done this he wept again;
Él habló a la multitud y les dijo: "Miren a sus pequeños."
And he spake unto the multitude, and said unto them: Behold your little ones.
Al mirar hacia arriba, vieron los cielos abiertos y ángeles descendiendo del cielo rodeados de fuego. Los ángeles bajaron y rodearon a los pequeños, y ellos fueron envueltos en fuego, y los ángeles les ministraron.
And as they looked to behold they cast their eyes towards heaven, and they saw the heavens open, and they saw angels descending out of heaven as it were in the midst of fire; and they came down and encircled those little ones about, and they were encircled about with fire; and the angels did minister unto them.
La multitud vio y escuchó, y dio testimonio; saben que su testimonio es verdadero porque cada uno de ellos vio y escuchó por sí mismo. Había unas dos mil quinientas personas, incluyendo hombres, mujeres y niños.
And the multitude did see and hear and bear record; and they know that their record is true for they all of them did see and hear, every man for himself; and they were in number about two thousand and five hundred souls; and they did consist of men, women, and children.
