Resumen
El Señor promete limpiar y proteger a Sion; los que permanezcan serán llamados santos, y la presencia de Dios los amparará y bendecirá después de un tiempo de juicio.
En ese tiempo, siete mujeres se aferrarán a un solo hombre y le dirán: “Comeremos nuestra propia comida y nos vestiremos con nuestra propia ropa; solo permítenos llevar tu nombre para quitar nuestra deshonra.”
And in that day, seven women shall take hold of one man, saying: We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel; only let us be called by thy name to take away our reproach.
En ese día, el renuevo del Señor será hermoso y glorioso, y el fruto de la tierra será excelente y precioso para los que hayan escapado de Israel.
In that day shall the branch of the Lord be beautiful and glorious; the fruit of the earth excellent and comely to them that are escaped of Israel.
Los que queden en Sion y permanezcan en Jerusalén serán llamados santos; todos los que estén inscritos entre los vivos en Jerusalén.
And it shall come to pass, they that are left in Zion and remain in Jerusalem shall be called holy, every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem—
Cuando el Señor haya lavado la inmundicia de las hijas de Sion y haya limpiado la sangre de Jerusalén de en medio de ella por el espíritu de juicio y el espíritu de ardor.
When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment and by the spirit of burning.
El Señor creará una nube y humo durante el día, y el resplandor de un fuego ardiente durante la noche, sobre cada hogar en el Monte Sion y sobre sus reuniones. La gloria de Sion será protegida.
And the Lord will create upon every dwelling-place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for upon all the glory of Zion shall be a defence.
Habrá un refugio que dará sombra del calor durante el día, un lugar de protección y amparo contra las tormentas y la lluvia.
And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and a covert from storm and from rain.
